Personal Statement:
I'm schizoaffective and formerly diagnosed with bipolar type 1 with psychotic features. Quite frankly, I could be labeled a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and it would not change anything fundamentally. I am a human being managing a severe mental disorder, but I deserve to be appreciated for who it is I am. I am proud of my independence and perseverance. I no longer live in shame. End the stigma.
Substack note: I have unpublished posts to be re-published soon. I will be posting more writing and adding all podcast episodes here, as well. As US states pass legislation in violation of reproductive rights, I would like to address the topic as a woman who had an abortion in Florida in May 2022.
Deeply personal writing will be paid subscription only.
